I was captured by Samsung's YP-K3 several months ago during a roadshow at Plaza Singapura. Back then, it was one of the few mp3 players with a a touchpad and an ultra-slim design. However, I did not intend to get it then as the prices were rather steep. Now that Audio House is having it's 17th Anniversary sale, they are offering a high rebates for their products. However, I am not too sure what are their terms and conditions like.

2G, $199 with rebate up to $99
4G, $299 with rebate up to $149

Apple's iTouch
(The above picture is taken from Apple's website)
Apple's products have never failed to capture my attention with their sleek and classy designs. I am especially fascinated with iTouch's multi-touch interface and the Macintosh look alike icons. Many have commented that the iTouch is actually an mp3 player manufactured in an iPhone's shell, but I am not disturbed by it. What bothers me most is its hefty price.
Another downside is iTouch (like the rest of apples mp3 players) reads only iTunes. That means that I have to convert the format of my mp3 songs. Given the fact that I am a lazy person, this really bothers me.
8G at $498
16G at $698

Display Size: 3.5 inch
Display: 320 x 480 pixels
Playback Time: 10 hours (8G) & 20 hours(16G)

Conclusion: I would have gotten Samsung's YP-K3 if iTouch never existed.
